DataLab’s Text Analysis Platform Quintessence at Shakespeare Association of America

The team behind DataLab’s Quintessence will be showcasing its capabilities at this year’s virtual Shakespeare Association of America conference. Quintessence hosts a suite of computational language tool for exploring the Early English Books Online (EEBO) corpus, making complex natural language techniques accessible for one of the most important databases for Early Modern research.

Quintessence incorporates the capabilities of topic models, word embeddings, and more to facilitate user’s exploration of documents in context.

If you would like to learn more about Quintessence, you can try the demo site here, or read more about it on the Quintessence project page.

If the capabilities of Quintessence are interesting to you, stay tuned! DataLab staff are currently expanding its capabilities to incorporate more collections of texts.
